Registry and Gifts

Hello family and friends! By now you-all should have the invitations and we look forward to hearing from you. Along with the RSVP's, we are also receiving many inquiries about gifts for the wedding. Let us just say this first: no gifts are required! We are so happy to have everyone there and presence, not presents, are all that are required! That said, if you still feel so inclined, we have decided to register at a site called thehoneymoon (See below for a direct link to the website). We have decided that instead of the traditional homemaker gifts, to instead create a dynamite honeymoon and have memories to last a lifetime. Our plan, a 2-month long bike trip! At this point we are thinking it will be to Argentina. We will be leaving in February 2010, after finishing our Paramedic Course and testing for our certifications. At this site, you can type in either of our last names, Vanbianchi or Porter, or the wedding date, Sept. 5 2009, and will be taken to our registry.

Click HERE to go to the registry website.
Enter either Porter or Vanbianchi to search for our site.

PLACES TO STAY AROUND KINGSTON FOR FAMILY COMING EARLY

For family and friends who are coming in early to Washington and want to spend time around  Kingston, here are some suggestions.

THE BLUE WATER INN: This is in downtown Kingston, and is a humble, clean, affordable motel that is within walking distance of the water, the Kingston/Edmonds ferry, a grocery store and restaurants

THE MANOR INN: A very nice secluded guest house between Poulsbo and Kingston.

Also, there are, of course, many hotels, motels, whatever you want in Seattle.  From Seattle there are ferry boats that cross to Bainbridge Island.  From Bainbridge Island you can drive to Kingston (Adri's hometown) and on to Port Townsend.
